In today’s digital evolution, the future of marketing thrives where data-driven precision meets captivating creative execution. This is the philosophy behind AdWaken.ai, an AI-empowered creative agency that creates bespoke, high-conversion websites and campaigns that deliver growth for their clients.
AdWaken.ai was founded by Matt Koulermos, who has nearly two decades of experience handling clients ranging in size – from regional businesses to multinational corporations. Seeing how the growth of generative AI was about to revolutionize the creative industry, Matt set out on his own and established AdWaken.ai to dive into the realm of possibilities.
According to Matt, integrating back-end AI data insights with visually engaging front-end designs allows brands to create previously unattainable content that not only captures attention but also drives conversions. The agency has developed a well-honed methodology to evaluate a client’s site and what needs to be changed to achieve its singular objective. Then they use the latest AI platforms to build on their insights, bolster their research, improve designs, and continue to optimize with back-end data.
AdWaken.ai applied this particular approach for one of their clients, The Bad Stuff, a producer of high-quality sipping tequila. They focused on streamlining the purchase process for The Bad Stuff, with the primary objective of increasing sales. The new design, which puts the products front and center, resulted in an increase of 17,000 unique monthly visitors, with a campaign driving to it that had a 13.7% average click-through-rate on Meta Ads.
With social media’s significant influence on consumer behavior, AdWaken.ai recognizes the need for thumb-stopping campaigns. This is especially important for The Bad Stuff, which appeals to an adventurous and more sophisticated consumer target market.
The result is Tequila Heads, AdWaken.ai’s first fully AI visual and AI voice social video, which combines aspirational lifestyle visuals with the rich legacy of the tequila recipe. According to Matt, he and his team used AI to create everything, with the exception of the music track, which was provided by the client. Producing this video cost a fraction of what it would be if they shot on location in the highlands of Jalisco in Mexico, where the blue agave used for tequila is grown.
Matt shares that his team used several different AI tools to create Tequila Heads, each with a different purpose for each step of the creative process. These tools include Leonardo AI’s ‘Realtime Generation’ with the capability to rapidly ideate imagery, Magnific AI to upscale and enhance the images, Runway ML to transform images into video, and Topaz Video AI for studio-grade video enhancement, to name a few.
Given the rapid evolution of these AI platforms, Matt encourages his team to continue learning with each new project. This is why AdWaken.ai sets monthly learning goals and bonuses for designers and other team members for each new AI platform they learn.
“Our work with The Bad Stuff Tequila shows how AI can help boost brands, allowing us to conduct a data-informed campaign that helped the brand grow its sales through a high-conversion website,” Matt says. “AI also played a tremendous role in creating Tequila Heads, enabling us to explore our creativity to a wider degree, resulting in stunning visuals that far exceeded what could have been accomplished traditionally on the same budget.”
